Problem (?) with 50D and Tamron 10-24

I Had the same problem, filled out the "send in equipment" form from Tamron's website. followed up with a phone call to Tamron's customer service dept., only pressed one option button and to my surpass a human being answered the phone. They were extremely courteous and informed me of my 6 year warrantee on the lens. Within 24 hours of receiving my lens Tamron sent me a confirmation email to advise me, that the lens had an issue with aperture assembly. They also informed me that the lens would be repaired at no charge and returned via UPS 3 day service!

Great customer service, thanks Tamron!!
