No, I didn't get a picture and no, ...
I didn't have a stop watch handy ... but I saw what appeared to be a stationary (i.e. didn't change shape or move laterally) lightning strike that "appeared" to be one continuous long term (about one or two seconds) discharge. The time duration is of course a guess on my part (if I "had been" counting one-thousand-and-one, one-thousand-and-two, etc., then the duration was probably between one and two seconds).
I know there are a lot of forum members that chase lightning strikes ... what is the longest (in your opinion or best guess) stationary discharge you have either seen or photographed, TIA?
