AWB has a mind of its own

Shooting several 6fps sequences the other day on my a55, something odd happened. When I looked at the RAW photos in Lightroom, some of the sequences had different color temperatures. For example, temperature for photo one was 5050, photo 2 was 7050, photo 3 was 5050, photo 4 was 5050, and photo 5 was 7050. The subject matter was identical, of course, so I am puzzled. Why would this happen?
