Hey Hassan, thanks for the comment. We're unfortunate in not having too many clear night skies here.

I'm using a Russian MTO lens a 3M-5CA. It's a 500mm Reflex Mirror Lens. It's M42 mount and I've got a 2x Vivitar Teleplus Macro adapter in FD mount. So I've got the 500mm with a M42 to FD adapter attached to the 2X and that's attached to my NEX.

This is what the setup looks like:

It's pretty solid and the focus ring is a bit tight so I am currently looking for a tripod collar and maybe a tripod apron for extra stability because at that focal length it's tricky even just getting the moon on the screen and keep it in focus!
