For 15-17 July 2011.

The world always looks a little different in shades of gray - or of sepia, or of platinum, or of ... , ... .

Post a monochrome or two, taken any time, with any camera, of any subject, processed any way you like. Please post your pictures as a response to this opening message. Feel free to comment - or not - on any of the posts.

How does the world look to you?

Breaking the asphalt

He was trying to break the concrete asphalt but afther some tries and mini earthquakes he decided to take it away just in one piece. I guess that such actions must effect those old houses at least it was noticeable under my feets.

Carizi that first one looks very alienated but how weird it looks I like it. The best is the wasp "the third" that is a real nice clean and wonderful shot.

The more I study those power transmission lines behind my house, I realize that they have multiple looks. The other morning as the sun was coming up the insulators looked they illuminated by mini Christmas lights. I'm afraid you're going to have be subjected to more images of them. This is going to be study in progress!

I shoot a band on a regular basis and would have never thought of that perspective!

My exact same thoughts when I first saw that first one. The wasp is my fav too. The wasp was not too comfortable when I was taking the shot; I'm glad I was taking the macro with the 70-300mm ZD. Thank you for taking your time to comment, Lou and have a great weekend!!!!!!!!!!.....
