Emergency! Squad 51 in quarters...

Here's a few snapshots I took at the Emergency! celebration/fund raiser at the Robert A. Cinader Memorial Fire Station 127 in Carson, CA.

You may recognize the station and trucks, as they were used in the Emergency! TV show from the 1970s. Also on hand were Randolph Mantooth (Johnny Gage) and Mike Stoker. E-620 & 12-60 Just posted for fun ...

Engine 51 and Rescue Squad 51

Engine 51 restoration was completed just last week

It's a 1972 Ward LaFrance, and was used in the last 5 years of the TV series

Rescue Squad 51. This is the truck that Roy DeSoto and Johnny Gage rode in.
It was restored about 10 years ago at a cost of $30,000.
It makes promotional appearances across the country.

1965 Crown Pumper, the last open-topped engine in service in L.A. County
It was Engine 51 for the first two seasons of the series.

Back end of the Crown Pumper.

Mike Stoker (hawaiian shirt) was the only active duty fireman to play on the show
Randolph Mantooth (Johnny Gage) in blue shirt.
Los Angeles County Fire Chief Daryl L. Osby (in uniform).

Lots of Emergency! fans were on hand.

Many more fire trucks can be seen here...
