DX to FX migration : worthwhile or foolish ?

my current gear is

Nikon D90 (1.5x crop)
zooms : 10-24 DX, 17-55/2.8 DX, 70-300VR
primes : 50/1.4D, 135/2 DC

recent acquisition to supplement DSLR :
Olympus E-PL2 (micro 4/3, 2x crop)
pancake primes : 14/2.5, 20/1.7

My dilemma is that DX crop factor are rendering my Nikon primes too long, and i'm not getting the shallow DOF that i've paid a premium for (particularly the 135).

1. Does it make sense to move to DX, say a D700/800, sell the 2 DX lenses, and replace them with a single wide zoom?

2. If so, which wide zoom ? (i want to use filters and keep price and weight reasonable).

3. what other lenses should i buy/sell to complete my kit ?
