-I believe FF DSLR from Pentax would and will sell in much, much larger numbers than 645D. Its obvious.

-I agree that to prolong Pentax life, pro, FF camera is a must! That way Pentax would stay next to the legacy DSLR makers Canon/Nikon like it was earlier; but also with Sony which proves that a non legacy company can succeed info pro photo segment. Why not Pentax, who already have reputation of old, legacy maker of photo equipment?! Not doing FF, will further weaken Pentax (there were some posts about pentax dying), who will make smaller and smaller cameras, and thus enlarge the distance between the top companies (Canon/Nikon), like You described with massive Canon sales of cheap models, by the influence of pro models - noone would buy ANY Pentax product if they dont see pro's shooting Pentax.
-I believe the real Pentax problem is good AF system.
