Daytime Long Exposures GF1 around NYC
Hey, I figured this deserved a reply because you've taken the time and effort to actually try something probably 90% of people don't (most people would've just shot it and moved on), so for that I applaud!
Critique from me would be a non straight horizon (it slopes left to right a little) and a slightly underexposed building. I'd actually be interested to see this shot in black and white? I think with the lines of the building it might work. Perhaps give it a try (but then, I love B&W!)
Second time out with the ND110 and the GF1/20mm combo. Had to use the ND110 with a polarizer in front of it to get up to a minute. I'm adding an 8x ND next time to get up to the 3-4 minute exposure range.
What do you think of the compositions? How much ND filter do you guys usually use when doing this sort of thing?
