The macro ability is really what it boils down to...

If you don't really need extreme macro, and close-up could suffice, then a Tamron 28-75 could replace a good part of your lenses... It's sharp, cheap, and full-frame (if you still go through the occasional roll).

Then you can get a 8-16 or a 12-24, depending on your WA needs, and keep the 55-300 for the reach...

Most of the time, you'd be going out with only the 28-75 and the 55-300...
