I would also consider the G2, which is discounted now, despite the G3 not being available I think. The G2 even has some advantages over the G3. The G3 will sell with a kit zoom, for $700. The G2 with the same lens, for $505. So by selling you Tokina for $100, and buying the 45-200 for $350, you'd end up with a G2, with the 45-200mm Pana mFT lens and kit zoom for $55 more than the G3:
G2 & 14-42 lens: $505
45-20mm Pana OIS lens: $350
Total: $855

versus G3 with the same two lenses:
$1050

Less Sale of Tokina: -100 =
$755 for G2 / $100 for the lens = $700
$950 for G3 / $100 for the lens = $895

You'll find that the depreciation for good lenses that are well priced, such as the 45-200mm lens, is much less than depreciation for cameras. The G2 may not depreciation very much at all now, because its available with a reasonable zoom for $500. The G3 will depreciate more IMO. At the end of the day, lenses are more important than sensors IMO.

PS I've read that Tokina is not a good lens!!

Sorry, but my post on prices was edited and it did not come out properly!
