Gpapa has the correct solution.

You can play with a photo like this until your blue in the face (amber in this case)and it will never look good.
Color is so unnecessary in a shot like this.

Convert to B&W using a B&W Conversion layer,add a curves layer to bring out more contrast by tightening up the low and high ends of the histogram and a slight S curve.

Sharpen a little in unsharp mask and you will have a very good easily rendered shot.
