Pentax would be foolish to abandon the K-mount - it's the best thing they have going for them, IMO. Since they already have a nice lineup of small prime lenses, they would be well-served by trying to make a K-mount body as small as possible. And if creating mirror-less designs helps in that regard, they should go for it. They won't be able to go as small as m43 of course, but who knows what a talented design guru might be able to achieve?
