I see no point. GF3

Looking at the tiny Panasonic GF3 with its "normal size" zoom lens, I'm more convinced this is a lost enterprise.

This camera as others (Sony Nex, etc) just manage to look ridiculous. They don't save space, they only lose features and means of control. These trendy cameras should look like lenses attached to nothing to really save space and become the pocket cameras their designers intend to. Why not go all the way and change the whole concept. They should design around the lens. The camera should be built inside the barrel of the lens. In that fashion, everything would be in a longer but unique dimension and not in the T form created by the current designs which adds bulk on every possible direction.

On a spec sheet this camera would look a lot smaller than a Canon EOS 600D. In real life, not much of a difference.
