A Rented 14-24 in Yosemite (feedback appreciated)

I rented a 14-24 f/2.8 for our trip to Yosemite in May. I relied on the 24-70 on the D700 for most of my shots, but the 14-24 was occasionally the one I needed:

Over the Merced River Valley, with Yosemite Valley off in the distance -

Mirror Lake and Half Dome -

Half Dome, from below -

The old Tunnel Tree stump in Tuolumne Grove -

Spring runoff standing in Yosemite Valley -

Ancient apple tree and Yosemite Falls -

Big trees and a little flare -

A cold and foggy day in Sequoia National Park -

Driving into Kings Canyon

It's a very useful lens, in certain situations, but I still haven't bought my own copy ... maybe soon.

Too many pictures of Yosemite: http://tinius-photo.com/Yosemite/
