4/3rds to Micro 4/3rds Migration Plan

Am considering replacing my current 4/3rds system with Micro 4/3rds simply for the reduced bulk and carrying weight.

I intend to sell off most of my E-system gear in stages to fund the purchase but will be retaining some of the lenses to use on the Micro system.

Currently have an E-30, 14-54mm Mk1, 50-200mm (non SWD), EC20 2x t/con, 40-150mm Mk2 lens and a Sigma 150mm macro.

Initially I intend to sell off the 50-200 lens and 2x teleconvertor to fund the purchase of a G3 (possibly) body and either the Panasonic 14-45mm lens or the Olympus 14-42mm lens, along with an adaptor to allow myself to use my remaining Olympus 4/3rds lenses on the G3.

If the results from this combination impress me enough compared to the G3 or E30 with the 14-54 4/3rds lens then I'll also sell the 14-54 and E30 body to fund either the Panny 100-300 lens or the Oly 75-300 lens.

The plan is to retain the 9-18 and 40-150 Olympus 4/3rds lenses to use on the G3 with the adaptor along with the Sigma 150mm macro lens.

From what I've read I believe that both the 9-18 and 40-150 mk2 lens will focus well on the G3.

Although the Sigma 150mm lens will probably be overkill on the G3 I'm prepared to retain it until there is at least an alternative Macro lens in the Micro 4/3rd range of 70+mm focal length….Olympus need to get their finger out in this regards!!

Has anyone else made the full transition "downwards" from 4/3rds to Micro 4/3rds? Is there anything you particularly miss??
