Color checker has it's merit, and if you go in the back end of the RAW portion (where you choose the color checker profile) and throttle back the reds, the profile should easily meet needs. Then just save as a default.

But then as you said...if he is using NX2, then that would exclude him.

Oh well...was a thought.

He would have to switch from NX2 to Lightroom 3 or Photoshop. Also, the ColorChecker Passport Camera Profiles tend to increase saturation in red, which would exacerbate his problem. He'd probably have to use the Adobe DNG Profile Editor instead of the X-Rite software.
