John

I like the 2nd bird--Glad to see that you have a new camera to try to figure out--LOL.
From all the posts, sounds like it's more complicated than an SLR> >

Wow, these are all great shots. So crisp. I like that Blue Jay especially, that funky feather color combo is wild. Well done.

Good sharp shot. Your juvenile goldfinch looks like a cross between our pine siskins and an American goldfinch. I really like to see birds from other places.
Thanks for posting.

I really like to see these birds from other parts of the globe. Some times they look very familiar and sometimes not. Your bluejay is certainly shaped like a jay but much different in plumage than all of ours. The siskin has the head of our siskins but ours are drab and brown. I've seen nothing here that is like your bullfinches but pigeons are the same pretty much all over.

Nice series-thanks for posting.

I like the young geese at that gangly stage. Not too keen on big snakes. I haven't seen anything but garter snakes for years but that's okay by me.

Good shots--thanks for posting.

That's a nice héron (called here héron bihoreau) . Normally according to the map they can be seen almost everywhere in France, but so far, no one except in a bird preserve :(

All the best, Michel

Alan, You are replying to the wrong person here. It should have been to the original topic. Yeah I do it too sometimes :-)

So what do I call you? Dodge?
Nope, no fawn, but there are a couple around here! Maybe 3 weeks old.
There have been so many advances in photography. Ability to capture a still from a movie is great!

Beautiful doe. Think she has a fawn somewhere or is it too early in your area?
