Autofocus improvement in new DSLRs
Here's my question: I have had a Rebel XTi for 4 years. I plan to keep it until the 7D replacement comes out (maybe next year). I have a rather nice collection of lenses: 17-55, 10-22, and 70-300L. What kind of improvement in AF will I probably see in the latest DSLRs versus my Xti?
The XTi does most everything I need but I'm often dissapointed in it's focusing accuracy in lower light and situations with low contrast. I generally use only the central AF point. It can, and does, very well much of the time (especially in bright sun) but sometimes I feel that considering the quality of the lenses I have I end up with too many shots just a little out of focus. If anyone has upgraded from an earlier Rebel to a newer DSLR I'd love to hear your impressions. Thanks
