Jessops have an E-PL1 on show with the new lens and assure me that this is the lens in the box with all their kits now......anyone know if this is correct?

Does the old lens have the locking button on?

I believe both lenses have the lock button on the side. I would suspect that if you buy an E-PL1 kit that was physically made a few months ago, it likely will have the old 14-42mm lens. It may be that if the kit was made more recently, it may have the new 14-42mm mark 2 lens and perhaps the white BLS-5 battery instead of the black BLS-1. The new battery is necessary to meet some new laws that went into effect in Japan last November, and you can use either battery in either camera, but I believe you need to use the charger made for the battery.
