D7000 vs D5100 Mirror Slap Test: 300mm and 500mm

Shot with a Sigma 50-500mm, OS-disabled, gimbal head, f/6.3 1/250 ISO 400, 10-second timer release, near MFD, shot raw, processed in LR 3.4 camera-neutral, default sharpening

Conclusion: I see a slight difference for the D7000 @ 500mm, no difference @ 300mm. I see no difference on the D5100 at either focal length.

D7000 500mm (Left = Exposure Delay Off, Right = Exposure Delay On)

D5100 500mm (Left = Exposure Delay Off, Right = Exposure Delay On)

D7000 300mm (Left = Exposure Delay Off, Right = Exposure Delay On)

D5100 300mm (Left = Exposure Delay Off, Right = Exposure Delay On)
