Playing with Fuji X-100 at Henry's show
There are some Fuji X-100 cameras out on stands with wires at the Henry's show in Toronto this weekend.
You can pick them up and play with them.
For pros looking for an expensive toy to drop into a jacket pocket -- bring a cheque book.
Overall feel is great, hybrid viewfinder works well, and all in all, a delightful package, for fun and amusement.
Twice the price of a Canon G12, and not a replacement for semi-broadly based pro work (as the Canon can be) but the Fuji just feels great.
Lots of prints on display taken with it. Excellent quality.
It's not a replacement for a P&S, and not the camera to buy for the more money than brains crowd.
It requires a real photographer -- amateur or pro but a lover of images, not a pixel peeper -- to be happy.
