Wow, that is some difference in field of view! Thanks for that demonstration. If I were using the 10mm rather than just trying to use it to get a wider field showing less detail across the scene, I think I would shove it right up against some interesting rock or feature in the foreground. That's the way I have used wide angle in the past for greatest effect.

The 10-24 produces nice images but the coverage takes some getting used to. Here's a shot with the 16-85 at 16mm:

I mean, you may think 16mm is wide but you get the whole world in the picture at 10mm. Both shots are full frame. The color difference is primarily from my messing around in post; both lenses produce the same color.
