DP1s finally got to Yellowstone
It as been a long winter, followed by a spring with very few clear, warm, calm days. Saturday was an exception, so ran to Yellowstone with a variety of cameras, including a DP1s I bought last summer and finally got a chance to get to the park. Hiked in at the Rescue Creel trail head, climbed various high points along the way to a knob capped with old hot spring deposits a few miles in and then walked back along the bluffs above the river, trying to end up at the top of another hill at the end of the day. The light was with me right to the end--usually not this lucky
The photos or mostly geology oriented, showing glacial and glacial flooding features about the Yellowstone Valley just inside the park near the north entrance.
I had to correct all the images for the green margin my camera leaves over much of the right side of images.
