I have ACDSee pro 3, and I tried Pro 4 and Lightroom 3.

ACDSee is by far the better "digital asset manager". If you need to catalogue and add keywords so you can find just the photos you want in you collection it is a superior program by far.

LR3 is a better editor, but not by much. It has better noise and sharpening algorithms, but the rest is pretty close. ACDSee allows you to open any file in your favourite photo editor (I use PaintShop X3) where I do my noise (Topaz DeNoise 5) , sharpening and other processing.

Pro 4 does not offer enough new to me to bother upgrading... I'll wait for the next version
