Ok, so i tried it this afternoon.

I think it works... problem is, i got no manual aperture lens, od ND filter, so i got a super mega bright almoust all white movie of a sunny afternoon :S but the exposure stayed locked.

With the NEX lenses you have to set aperture before you lock exposure measurement. and shutter speed.

Ex with a NEX lens

1. Set an Aperture that gives a Shutter speed of 1/40-1/50s

2. Slowly partly cover the lens with someting with sharp edges until the shutter changes to 1/30.
3. Start recording, lock exposure, remove the cover.

4. If you have done it right you should be recording at 1/48s, but if the light changes during recording you cant change exposure.
