Hello,

I'm living overseas and no camera gear shop arounf.
So I can only have a look of the different options via B&H or website.

For you wich bag can I find that suit E-PL1 + 14-150 only?

I already have a Lowepro backbag when I need to carry more gears, but I want a simple belt bag as little as possible.

Thanks for your help,

Bruno from Tahiti

Don't wanna hijack the thread, hehe, but do you have any recommendation about EPL1 14-150 + EVF2? Thanks

I'm using a Lowepro TLZ Mini for my GH2 + 14-140. Should work well for you, I think. Can even fit a pancake lens in the front pocket if desired.

Hi,

Just the camera and the lens.

Thanks,

Bruno
I find the bodies & lenses so small & light that I literally have been getting the best results putting the camera in a Tumi hip pack. It really doesn't need any more padding than what the bag itself offers ( a thick durable, lightly structured outer layeer, & a lining. To me, it's a huge improvement over any camera bag I've seen, except for maybe a crumpler.

That's a tricky one. There are so many bags out there it's mind numbing. Most are either designed for DSLRs and way too big, or for compacts and too small for a M4/3 camera and lens.

I use a Mountainsmith Zoom Small for my GH2 and 20mm f1.7. Check out the Zoom Medium. It's a bit larger and more for a body w/ a zoom lens.

LowePro makes a bunch of smaller DSLR-like holster bags you could look ate.
Kata makes a huge array of bags. http://www.kata-bags.com

Take the overall dimensions of your camera and lens and look at internal dimensions of different bags. Without being able to physically try some, that's about the only way to go about it.

One thing I've done is order a few bags (actually iPhone cases, but the same idea) keep the one I like and return the rest. Amazon has liberal return policies, at least in the US.

If you don't need a bag for protection or to carry accessories, but only as a way to carry the camera unobtrusively, the smallest solution is no bag at
Funny you mention that...I've got the spiderpro holster mounted on my hip packYor on my belt), & Love it! It really works great w/ the Tumi hip pack, or one of my across-the shoulder slings, bcs you just slip it in the holster when you're actively planning on shooting, & have it literally on & at your fingertips, w/o having to open anything . When you2e done, you can slip it n the hip pack for protection from thhe off-chance whack against a table, etc.. Usually, if I know I'm really done for the day, I break down the kit & tuck the lens on the bottom, & pack the camera in sideways, so the whole package is slimmer. The evf goes in the side pocket, to be taken out on the off chance that I'd prefer it.

I gitta thank Sam Benet here on this forum for tuning me onto this thing. I even use it for my dslr now, & converted to a wriststrap setup for the dslr.

Yes, I combine it with some of the Lowepro and Tamrac modular lens cases and utility bags; I grab just the few pieces I want for a particular day. Keeps everything tight and light, nothing swinging loose on a strap. They all fasten on a regular belt, or if I want to be able to take the gear off easily I wear a separate inexpensive nylon belt with a quick-release.

I've seen people use the pro version (not the lighter Black Widow) to carry a Canon 1D with a huge lens and a big flash on top. I understand some pros carry two that way, one on each side. I don't even feel the weight of a GH2+14-140mm on the Black Widow.
