Does 60mmG compliments 105vr macro?

Thanks for sharing your experience. Indeed I am worried that the 105 might be too close to 60. I am actually look for a low light tele rather than another macro lens. Should I be looking at the 135DC instead?

I am not too keen on Sigma lenses for their poor AF accuracy.

So I'd say that, from my experience, they may be a little bit too close to maximize the money you're going to spend on them.

If you're looking for a telephoto that also does macro you should look at the sigma 150 - a sufficient enough gap to make it worth your while and also gets great reviews.

Or, of course, there are other options that don't quite suit your specs but are great - the 180 2.8 for example - focuses slower than you want but it's a fairly priced gem.
