Image resale question...
I photographed a celebrity a few months back as an assignment for a nationally distributed magazine, and was paid, albiet a low editorial rate, to do so. Now that the images have ran and the embargo period is over with the magazine, I sent the publicist of the celeb a proof page for the rest of the images, as they expressed interest in seeing them. I ,of course, am interested in "reselling" the images. They are asking me if they can use them for other 'editorial' purposes... How should I go about selling images to someone who didn't commission them and likely wants them for free... I also would love to have these images out in other mags, etc with my name attached too, so just getting them out there is important to me as well. I guess what I am asking is, what is the best way to discuss the money part without scaring them away right off the bat?
If I have left any important info out of the story please ask me.....
