Re: D7000 Pop-Up Flash & High ISO - Odd Behavior?

There is a way to force low ISO in Auto-ISO mode when using the flash: Set your flash NOT to TTL mode, but to Commander mode. Then, within the Commander settings, set it to TTL. Your ISO will set at 100 ISO when you pop up the flash.

The reason why this setting is useful is because normally I leave my D7000 in Auto-ISO mode. In other words, I don't want to have to change from Auto-ISO mode (my normal setting) to manual ISO when using the in-built flash. I would rather it set itself automatically to a low ISO when using flash. I understand that the camera exposes for ambient light, but I would still prefer using a low ISO with flash, and without having to go to manual mode to achieve this.
