Need help 9000MKII with Mac

Need you advice and help.
iMac, Snow Leopard
Printer: Canon 9000 MKII with Canon inks
Paper: Red River Zeppelin Semi Gloss
Profile :Red River Zeppelin Semi Gloss
Printed file format is PSD

I was printing color on Red River Zeppelin Semi Gloss paper and using provided by Red River profile for the above paper - Color management by Adobe Lightroom.

  • The print has light brown tint making the print look darker and muddy.

Then I let the printer manage the color. Printer selected sRGB profile and the print was a very close match to the image on monitor (calibrated) screen.

Called to Red River and was told to turn off the printer managing colors when using Lightroom managing colors. However there is nothing displayed to turn OFF the printer managing colors. On the page after selecting PRINT Color Matching choice shows two grayed out items Color Sync (selected by LR)) and Canon Color matching (not selected). I can not change it - not under mouse control.

When allowing the printer to manage the color under Color Matching the same two grayed out items ColorSync (Not selected)) and Canon Color matching (Selected by LR).

What is the fix.
Thank you fot the help.
