Why they dont make fixed wide angle lenses anymore?

When i want to shoot wide angle ( 20-24 35mm equiv) i dont really need zoom, i just want something along the 12-16 range to shoot wide angle, to include LOT of point of view visual (including panorama-like landscape for example) or emphasize something by shooting it close (which zoom will not help me with, i will still need to get close)

The only choices bellow 18mm now i see from both stock and after market brands are very expensive zooms when i believe many people (surely enought to justify a decent market portion) would just want a fixed 13mm 2.8 - 3.5 lens to cover their wide angle side of photography, in the price range not much different than a fixed 35mm 1.8 -2.8 .....

Wouldn't be advisable for manufacturers to release such lenses as well ? why i can get a decent telephoto for 100-150 and not a decent wide angle ?
