It's certainly legal, but it could be against a marketing agreement between Olympus and their suppliers. Many manufacturers will stipulate a minimum price or a "no deep discounting" or "thou shalt not sell at a loss" clause. It's quite common, used to protect smaller vendors from being unable to make a decent profit. So it's possible that Staples could get in trouble with Olympus for this and potentially lose their ability to sell Olympus products.

Staples won't get into legal trouble however. Neither will I for ordering one.
