For Nikon Glass without manual Aperture Ring (newer Nikon lenses) make sure you get an adapter designed for Nikon G lenses.
These adapters have a ring that allows you to manually adjust the aperture.

With any legacy lenses using adapters on m4/3 you have to shoot in Aperture mode, using the manual focus and aperture on the lens.

It is nice though, takes you back to photography as it was before 1986 when autofocus became available....

Many Four Thirds lenses on Micro Four Thirds via adapter do not have autofocus enabled. see
