Re: So, what is THE lens for 4/3?

Surefoot, as a pro I have been exchanging lenses for over 40 years. In the Nikon world, their zooms actually out perform (or are equal to) their primes (for the most part, up to the 300mm f2.8 and higher). I want a zoom. Make sense now?

MANY reasons for not using the Fuji X100.

If you mean the sharpest in terms of resolution on test charts, this would be:

  • 20mm f1.7 for AF lenses

  • 25mm f0.95 for manual lenses

  • 50mm f2 Olympus (adapted 4/3, so not really native) for macro

Now i cannot make sense out of your question... Interchangeable lens system means, you can adapt to the situation by changing lenses. Otherwise just go and get a Fuji X100...
