Anyone know of the cheapest place to get Momory Sticks in the UK?

They're about £70 for a 32MB in Jessops/Dixons etc. but I've seen 'em on US websites for half that.

Anyone got any recommendations before I get 'em mail order from the US?

Phil,
The cheapest place I have found is http://www.dabs.com

But 32 meg is still £69. Let me know which US mail order is best for this. I am looking to buy a 64meg+ card.

Thanks,
Ramin.

Hi Phil

I saw them advertised in a Digital image magazine in a shop called "Kamla" which is in London priced at £99.95 for 64MB, £75.00 for 32MB. Shops phone no is 020 7323 2747. They don't seem to have a web site but the e-mail is

[email protected]. I've never dealt with them but I'm thinking about it, so I couldn't say if they're any good. Hope this helps.

I am new to the digital scene but have just ordered a Sony DSC-F505V from http://www.internetcamerasdirect.co.uk

They were the cheapest dealer for the camera and they also have Sony and Lexar memory sticks in stock.

The Lexar 64Mb stick is £105 and the Sony 64Mb is £115 if you do decide to order from the States would be interested to know who you order from.

I checked out a few U.S. sites but they would only ship within the U.S.

Cheers - Harry

Just an amendment to my earlier message on memory stick pricing. The Lexar 64Mb stick is correct at £105, the Sony should have been £125.

The £20 saving over the Sony memory plus the five year guarantee with the Lexar were the main reasons for purchasing the Lexar plus post and packing was free on these items.
