Good times - D700 price falling

I'm one of the many waiting for the D800 (or wahtever it will be). I am really getting tempted by the price drops in the D700. In the UK I follow the "camerapricebuster" website and see that the D700 has dropped £50 to its lowest price since it was launched.

I'm about to sell my D300 and rely on my D2Hs until the new body is readily available. I expect criticism from some for selling out, but hey, the D2Hs is awesome. In my opinion much better than the D300 in many regards, if not pixel count.

If the d800 is good, I'll buy that, if its not such a big step then I'll get a D800. I want what many request, 1080p video plus D3s performance. I may just get the D3s instead.

Times are great for buying a D700 - a very tempting option> But I'm in no hurry for the new D800, I can wait 6 months or more. So I'm selling my D300 (not a bad camera, but don't like how it handles) and I'll take my chances.

If the D700 keeps dropping, that's where my money is going.

Just a note _ I'm absolutely an amateur and make no money from my hobby.
