Re: Flash Diffuser confusion

Check out Paul Demb's site, http://www.dembflashproducts.com/

I have used the basic flip-it with his flash bracket. The bracket is designed so that the flash sits right over the lens with a slight angle. The down side to this setup is that there is not enough contact area between the bottom of the bracket wnd the bottom of the camera. So with a heavy flash line the 580 EXII, you have to support the bracket with your finger to keep it from moving.

If you go to my smugmyg bio, http://intimateadventures.smugmug.com/About-Me-and-My-philosophy/About-Me/14720026_2zEhT#1096730449_iTebw you will see me holding one camera with the thing attached. In this case, the reflector is down--a position I use with fill. Were I shooting indoors, I would have it pointed straight up.
