Camera armor on 5DII - is it worth it?

Hello,

Has anyone had any experience with camera armor (by any name or manufacturer) on a 5D?

As someone who has dropped cameras before and doesn't have a rock-solid tripod, I'm looking around for a protective shell/skin/coat for a 5DII, and Camera Armor (brand) seems pretty prominent in most searches. Is it any good? Does it provide any protection against the elements (including moisture) and real additional protection against bumps and drops (from a low height, obviously)? Is it useable in terms of giving access to manual controls, do you you have to put the camera in the "green box" shooting mode (a definite deal-breaker for me)?

Thank you in advance for any light you can shed on this matter.
