Some more moon shots

I always love a good moonshot! I have been setting the camera to M for moon shots and shooting about -1 on the exposure scale to get proper exposure of the moon. My guess is that all the dark sky messes with the metering causing it to overexpose the moon. I'm sure you had to manually focus the shot. Did you use LiveView to MF? The first shot below was done handheld. The second one was done with a tripod and doesn't look quite as sharp mainly due to the lack of contrast on a full moon. Both are 100% crops.
