Any squirrel shooters in the building?

Hello Nikonians:

As you may be aware, there is a group of photgraphers called the Worldwide Squirrel Shooters Association, including more than 300 Nikonians who go nuts twice a year, posting pictures of squirrels, and telling stories about their adventures in small game photography.

The group started right here at DP Review about six years ago, and migrated to flickr two years ago, when it became obvious that posting photos of squirrels in the forum threads was imposing on the hospitality (and trying the patience) of the members at large.

Things went quite well until last week, when we had a technical glitch at the flickr group where the WSSA (Worldwide Squirrel Shooters Association) Nikon Chapter was hanging out, and all of our squirrel photos went down the drain when the group admins cleaned the pool!

Fur was flying in all directions for about a week, until we created a new site specifically dedicated to the group, so that we would have a safe haven for WSSA membership frenzies and related activities.

I have been trying to contact some of the original WSSA Nikon Chapter members - I know that there are a few who post in this forum - could we please spread the word and ask the WSSA Nikonians to touch base at this location:

Everyone is welcome to drop by to take a look - if you really enjoy squirrel photography, click on the thread for the WSSA Slideshow - it's an entertaining gallery of images of squirrels from around the world!

Many thanks!

WSSA # 184
