SX30-IS or S5-IS: Observation of end-results

Hi all,

Please note this is not intended as a "Which is better: CamX VS CamY" post. We use both the Canon SX30-IS and S5-IS, often with both shutters clicking simultaneously. And we will surely keep on using both, as they each have their strengths for what we do.

As I've said in earlier posts, I process all the shots we choose for posting in our galleries. And of course I try to make each selected image as good as possible before it goes online. But I just wonder if the differences between these cameras are noticeable or obvious to any who view the photos we take with them. So here I offer up a recent batch of selected shots with equal numbers from both cameras. These were taken in widely varied circumstances with regard to distance, lighting, and settings used, typical of our everyday shooting. So this is certainly not a scientific comparison, but I'd be very interested to see if anyone here can discern who took which, or otherwise notice the individual character of these cameras.

We'd appreciate any observations you care to offer.
