My first two iPhone 4, were both replaced with new phones by local Apple Store technicians, due to their faulty operation (the second phone, was replaced just hours ago, this evening 2011). What has been your iPhone 4 success rate, so far? :|

What faulty operation?

My iPhone 4 has been fine, but we thought that my cousin's might require a replacement since it took pictures with a rather off cast in color.

Turns out that she had never updated from ios4.1to 4.2.1. Apparently, she is a PC user and at&t sent her out of the store and never told her to install iTunes on her laptop for syncing, backup and music loading purposes!

My local apple store was able to update her phone to the latest iOS, and in the process, fixed the color issue with the built-in camera. Now that she's back home on the other coast, I still don't know if she's installed iTunes on her laptop

mine's been fine but my boyfriend's (bought at the same time) dropped calls frequently and had other audio issue (he couldn't hear or the other person couldn't) almost from the first week... it went to Apple and was repaired (they don't replace them over here) and has been perfect since.

for you, let's just hope, that three's a charm ;)

This is still just half the number of new Android phones that has hit the market in the same time period. All iPhone killers;-)

Bought an iPhone 4 as soon as they had one available to buy. Put a good cover on it immediately. Never had one problem, better reception than my old 3G, and I absolutely love it! Better yet, sold my old 3G on Ebay a week ago for $200. So I got the iPhone basically for free!

Only my opinion. It's worth what you paid for it. Your mileage may vary! ;-}

How's that netflix, hulu+ and imovie app run on your droid? Oh, wait they DON'T. I know because I have rooted EVO. I love my free mobile hotspot and tethering but I'm not going to go all "fandroid" on an apple forum.

Anyway, a good friend of mine has had the iPhone 4 since launch and has had no issues with it.

1. My first iPhone 4, failed to accept the first firmware/software release that Apple released; and, even the Apple Geniuses couldn't get it to do so. Therefore, within minutes of my taking it to the local Apple Store, they exchanged it for a new one, at no cost to me.

2. The iPhone 4, I returned yesterday (19 Jan 2011), and was similarly given a new replacement iPhone 4 for, had similar problems as you say with color casts. All the Apple store geniuses had to do, was to log onto iTunes store and Apple online site to see that all the icons/pictures were fuzzy/unclear/faded/ had horizontal streaks running though images & across my phone's display, to realize something wasn't working right; and, especially, after they restored the phone back to factory standards, and still had the same problems.

3. This problem with my second iPhone has been a problem for months; but, as the phone otherwise worked just fine, I just never took the time to return it to the Apple Store for a check out. In fact, the main reason I finally did so yesterday, is because I now use my iPhone for taking/storing/analyzing Blood Pressure measurements, and as a result a number of doctors/nurses/laboratory personnel and others have been interested in checking this application out ----- this was reason enough for me to get the iPhone's display looked into, and yes now it's just fine. Of course, my iPad can be used for the same purpose (even an iPod Touch for those with them), but the iPhone is something that those of us that have one, tend to have with us at all times. ;)

It should be, as I have owned and used an iPhone (all three versions, now) as my sole personal phone, since Apple released the first iPhone; and, other than iPhone 4, I never had a problem with any of them. ;)

We will exactly when an iphone killer gets released. It is when the iphone stops being the yardstick. Thus the newly released phones will not be called an iphone killers but a XYZ-killer.
XYZ=future phone name
QED By being dubbed as an iphone killer proves that it is not.

From what I saw pricing several items, Gazelle.com offers a price well below what one can obtain by selling on eBay or Craigslist.

For example, a Nikon digicam that goes for around $200 on eBay is priced at $54 on Gazelle.com...

it will be interesting to see what happens to Android sales as compared to iPhone sales when the iPhone comes out on Verizon next month - :O

Chances are that some people who wanted to stick with Verizon because they live in an area without AT&T 3G service will get an iPhone now. For me the question is how many people will switch from AT&T or stay with VZW and get an iPhone.

also 16GB, even with the original box, etc. I never knew. Thanks for the tip.
