Maybe someone can help me with this:
I've had my S95 a couple of months now and it is really a jewel. But all along I've felt that while its photos look stunning on its LCD - when I view them in CS5 Bridge they just have a dull look - kind of like a grey filter over everything. The blacks aren't dark enough and the photos just don't look nearly as good as they do on the LCD. This is the same with RAW and JPEG files.
I recently installed the CANON software - DPP and ZoomBrowser - and the photos look different than Bridge - sharper and with more contrast. Even the colors look better when viewed in the CANON software. They look closer to the LCD preview image. What could be going on?
I had installed the latest CS5 update for CameraRAW when it came out (the one that supports the S95). Before that I had downloaded the trial update before the actual version was released.
Has anyone else had this problem viewing S95 photos in CS5 Bridge or Photoshop?
Thanks for any help.
