Resaving JPGs, explain this to me, I'm guessing KR is talking about

saving JPGs multiple times and loss of IQ. I am a newbie at this so I need a little help. I shoot with a S95 that can shoot in RAW and might be interested in playing with that if it is simple enough.

But my question today is whether there is any substantial loss in resaving a JPG, say 2-3 times. I am aware of the lens distortion at the wide end that gets corrected in JPG, just wondering about the resaving issue.

Here is the Ken Rockwell quote: "Every camera starts with raw data from which it creates JPGs. Photoshopping later causes no visible degradation, but some people still worry about resaving JPGs from the scare stories that circulated back in the 1990s."
