I used this combination with excellent VF-2 today. It is so easy to manually focus. Even my wife, who doesnt shoot often, focus with ease.
Excellent shots, and I agree re: the VF-2. Manually focusing was never as easy even with any of the manual focus film SLR's I shot with for 20+ years before buying my first digital camera.

Thanks. VF-2 changed my opinion about manual focusing on E-P cameras. I had E-P! last year, and although I loved it, i missed eye viewfinder. Manual focusing was not so easy, especially in bright sun. With VF-2, it is another story.

Really good shots my friend. Glad you enjoy that Minolta glass - there is plenty reason to do so.

Seems we were at the same place, almost the same time :).

I, on the other hand, had my crazy-to-focus, sun-in-lcd, using "the force" to focus combo: E-P1 + jupiter 11 (will post some photos as soon as I get hands on my HD :)).

These shots are fairly clean and sharp. I almost purchase that same lens, but got the Minolta Rokkor 58mm F1.4. Good to know that I could get equally good shots out of my new purchase.

There is always the E-PL2 which has that now so you could try some how to trade your way into one.

Yeah I have notice so far in bright sun I am using F2.8 or higher to get a sharper shot. Do you have any in door shots?

Your top photo is simply stunning. A little more pp is all it would take to make it worth hanging on any wall. I like your portraits, especially the last one, but I would expose that one a touch less to protect the highlights. Although the size of your samples makes it hard to judge, it looks like the lens is quite sharp.

Good job.

Very very nice! MF with the EVF is indeed a breeze. I like this first shot best: might warrant some further post processing with colours etc. to get a really mystical image?
