optical brighteners in lustre paper - ok or avoid?

I'm in need of 10" roll photo paper and my vendor for this type of stuff recomends http://www.premierimagingproducts.com/pp_photoluster.php

I've shopped canvas and just about everything I read says to avoid optical brighteners whenever possible - now this paper is showing as having them.

Is this a bad thing? Avoidable? Should I care? (for info - i'm a pro studio and replacing my one last outsourced item, the 'common' print).

If I knew how to take a good picture I'd do it every time.
