Re: Koyote Soft converter

I have also tried using Super C and converted AVCHD using a bit rate of 6000. The results were pretty good but there was still some pixalation in large, same color areas like blue sky or clouds when played on a 46" HDTV. I haven't tried 8000 ... might get even better results.

My best results are still achieved using .MOV from my FZ35 or LX3 and converting in Expression 4 and then edited in Win MovieMaker (XP).

It has been reported that in Win 7, Live MovieMaker, handles AVCHD, I don't know if it will convert and save in WMV HD as does the older Movie Maker.

Note: Expression 4 PRO will convert but it will cost you $199.
