G2 and Costco minilab = Great Pictures
Just got my pictures back from the Denver (SouthMetro) Costco. They are fantastic, I mean great pictures. I was thinking about a G3 but not now.
I'll save my pennies for now, and pick-up a D60 in a year or so.
For the pictures, I did a little work in PS7 - set pics for 300 dpi and burned them to CD-R (jpeg). Took the CD to Costco and 45 minutes later, I was blown away, by the great pics. The service was great, I asked the clerk about them printing from the CD and she said she wasn't sure. She went and asked a guy working with her and he told sure. They could it, but they have to print the entire folder. Pics can be in JPEG or TIFF no size limit.
4x6 for .19 cents, + great printing Costco is my G2's new best friend. I even wish I could get back my $450.00 for my printing setup.
