60D bulb exposures - thoroughly impressed

I recently hopped back into the Canon camp with a used 40D, but only a few months later was itching to be able to do video. I loved the 40D performance and even shot a friends wedding with it - no problems at all.

In order to get video I either had to go to the 7D or the 60D and since price was the real factor, I went with the 60D at $899. Anyway, I haven't done any really long exposures since my film days due to noise. So I set out last night to see what this thing could do with the built in noise reduction.

The content isn't terribly interesting, but it certainly shows what this thing could do. I did manage to get some "ghosts" in a few of the images which is kinda cool. Shots range from 16-27 seconds. All are straight out of Aperture with no PP on them. I'm really impressed with it's performance on these and will be doing much more with night photos!
